I've never purchased an instrument over the internet before. What assurance do I have that I will be happy with my purchase?

We have sold thousands of instruments through the internet and mail order with tremendous customer satisfaction. Our online rating is unsurpassed with thousands of happy clients. We make every effort to Over-deliver on value as we know the importance of customer satisfaction and want to have the transaction go smoothly. We feel it costs us less to do it right from the start to avoid returns and the inconvenience of shipping an instrument back and forth for adjustment. On the other hand, we advise shoppers that are extremely particular about specific details,(ie-wood grain, specific tonal qualities, specific color matching, etc.)to consider shopping at a music store. We only recommend this to a small percentage of people.  We encourage you to ask any questions before purchasing to avoid any misunderstanding. Do you offer custom orders on finish and body designs?

Not at this time. We are concentrating on our core models with attention to making these to our best ability. We may offer custom finishes in the future.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

We send via several carriers and forward the tracking information to you from the carrier so you will know when delivery will be made. Pease allow 24-48 hours for your instrument to be set up and sent after your payment. We package securely and insure your instrument. Typical UPS ground delivery is between next day to one week depending on your location.

Where is SurfCity?

We are located in Huntington Beach, Ca., known to surfers throughout the world as SurfCity USA. Our Warehouse, office and final finishing is in Huntington Beach with general assembly done in our factory in Asia.

How can I pay for my purchase?

We accept checks, money orders, all major credit cards and Paypal.

How safe is it to ship an instrument overseas?

We ship internationally all the time and make sure the instrument is double boxed with approved padding and insulation. We insure all shipments and have less than 1% damage incident claims.

Where can I find SurfCity instruments?

At this time you may order factory direct from us. We are currently setting up qualified resellers to represent our line. Interested resellers and recommendations to qualified dealers that you would like to see carry our products may be forwarded to us for consideration.

What is your affiliate program?

We offer commissions to anyone that signs up and refers customers to our website that make a purchase. By using our banner or text ads, or those of your own through your website, you will be credited with any sale when someone clicks on our ad through your site and arrives at SurfCityInstruments.com and makes a purchase. You are assigned a unique affiliate code that is tracked through our advanced system and calculates all sales attributed to your referrals. We pay commissions once a month.

What does it mean that you "set up" the instruments?

Our factory ships SurfCity instruments to us without final steps to set the string playability at its optimum. We file the top nut, adjust or sand the bridge saddle, adjust the neck truss rod, and top or level frets. We set the string height, or "action" at the most optimum height for ease of play and with little or no string buzz if played hard. Please indicate if you prefer a higher action or have special requests for setup at the time of order and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please understand that set up is labor intensive for our technicians to accomplish. This is a unique offer that is rarely, if ever found on instruments in this price class. On the rare occasion that we do not setup your instrument to your satisfaction, we will offer to make the adjustment at no extra charge but do require you to pay return shipping cost.

The SurfCity Rock/Fusion is a design we feel offers a breakthrough in  quality and value. We have received many fantastic testimonials from clients that also own Les Pauls reporting the incredible value of the Rock/Fusion. Although we are flattered and do believe the Rock/Fusion to be the best value on the market, it is unrealistic to draw exact comparisons to the Gibson Les Paul as it sells for over 5 times the amount of the Rock/Fusion.  If you want the best value in a popular body style with unique tone and features, and wish to spend under $400,.we have the best value on the market!
