My son and I were looking for a guitar that would be a "project" for us--one that looked good, and if it needed a tweak here and there, that'd be half the fun we were looking forward to. After a LOT of research on the web, we bought the Rock Fusion and we couldn't be more happy. The guitar looks fantastic (just like the pictures), the neck is just the right shape, and its tuning is rock- solid. To our surprise, we thought we'd need to swap out the pickups, but there's really been no need to; after we set it up to our preferences, this guitar has been a real joy to play. Hey, I got my X-Factor guitar a couple weeks ago, its great. The sound is nice and crunchy and great for punk, alternative music. I especially enjoy the gold hardware, it goes so well with the red finish. I own a gibson les paul, and a gibson sg special, and i figured for 200 hundred bucks, theres no going wrong. I was right. Hi there. We received the Bolsa Chica acoustic-electric amazingly quick....we live on Long Island, and I think it came within 5 to 7 days. We bought it for our son and just gave it to him today as an early Christmas present. He is currently taking guitar lessons and we knew he would use it right away. It is a fantastic guitar. 'I have a 50 guitar collection. As each new addition arrived, I would seek out the personality of that piece of wood. Then after awhile the new guitar was put into rotation with the others. But this Rock-fusion broke all the rules....... It's like the whole collection in one................. I think all guitar players at some point in time hit a ceiling of stagnation until something comes along to break through. The Rock-fusion was that for me. After the Gold Top has given all that it can, I continue to find new expressions with the Rock-fusion.
